Tyler Schisler, Co-owner of Shumaker Roofing and son of Bob Schisler, grew up in Frederick, MD and served in the Navy after high school.
Is the Son of Bob Schisler and Co-owner of Shumaker Roofing Company. Tyler grew up in Frederick, Maryland where he met his wife of 10 years. Tyler joined the Navy after high school and shipped off to boot camp at the Great Lakes in 2013. Following Boot camp Tyler was stationed in San Diego on the USS CVN 70 Carl Vinson. He was deployed to the Persian Gulf where he served on a 10 month deployment, serving in the Valiant Shield in 2014 Inherent Resolve.
Tyler left the Navy in 2016, and pursued a career in information technology. He graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelors in information technology with an emphasis on cyber security.
In 2019 Tyler and his wife sold their home in San Diego and decided to move back home to Maryland. Tyler did not have the original intention of entering the roofing industry, but has come to love the art of building a business, culture and team! He is extremely proud of the company and loves to help people and inspire others! He is a dedicated leader who cares deeply about his family, team, and community.
